Raed Dawood

Raed has always worked close to technology and has been involved in technology related projects from the late 90’s. He has been part of many of the countries ICT initiatives such as the launch of Oman’s first mobile data network (EDGE) then later 3G and 4G networks. Raed also sits on the National PKI Committee and was recently Project Manager for the National ICT strategy. Raed’s background is very diverse, with experience in audit, banking, investments, telecom, product development, customer experience, service quality, strategy, government relations, sales, and marketing communications & branding. 

Rishi Khimji

A serial Entrepreneur with a proven track record in various fields. Currently the Managing Director of Asha Enterprises that owns and operates diverse businesses in the Service and Retail Sector such as operating restaurants, advertising and media companies to name a few. Successfully formed partnerships with international brands such as WHSmith (Airport Retail), Travelex (Currency Exchange), Europcar (Vehicle Leasing), and Havas Worldwide (Advertising, PR and Social Media) in Oman. Apart from managing the operations of Asha Enterprises Rishi is also a keen investor in tech companies and has invested in quite a few ventures in the Middle East and Europe. This being a passion has led him to look further into Angel Investing and actually assisting the young entrepreneurs of Oman in becoming successful by hand holding them through to maturity stage. 

Mithilesh Rajda

Mithilesh Rajda is a recent transplant to the GCC region from New York City. He currently resides in Muscat, Oman where he is the co-founder of a US FTA Logistics Company. Mithilesh has worked in the Information Technology Sector his entire professional career which spans over 25 years. He has successfully built many transformational Strategic Business Units in the IT Networking & Consulting Services space, providing high tech solutions to many companies on Wall Street as well as in Silicon Valley. Mithilesh believes in the positive societal impact of Venture Capital and he is most passionate about investments that promote social good.

PROCESS FOR GROUP MEMBERSHIP: 

• Qualifying individuals are invited to consider becoming members of Angel Investments LLC.  

• New member candidate must have an active member as their sponsor who has reviewed their resume and invited the candidate to a monthly Members Meeting.

• Membership is at the discretion of Angel Investment LLC’s Membership Committee and is subject to annual renewal, non-renewal, revocation or termination by Angel Investments LLC’s Membership Committee.

• Interested parties must complete the Membership Agreement and Membership Survey, and submit the same as directed on the Membership Agreement.

• The Membership Committee will review all applications for membership and endeavor to provide applicants with a written response within thirty (30) days of completed application submission.
